Severe Weather Chances Wednesday
A marginal risk of severe weather today for southeast Texas and southwest Louisiana. The risk of severe weather has narrowed this morning, but some areas under the risk could see large hail and isolated tornadoes with a few storms.
Snow Chances for Minnesota, Wisconsin and Michigan Wednesday
A clipper system will continue to produce scattered snow showers over Minnesota, Wisconsin and Michigan through Wednesday. Some parts of northern Minnesota could see some heavy snow. More snow chances for the same area by Friday.
Heavy Snow for the Northern Rockies Wednesday and Thursday
More snow is on the way for the northern Rockies over the next few days. Upper-level dynamics and a strong surge of Pacific moisture could lead to snowfall totals over a foot for some areas.
Heavy Rain Potential for Northern California by Friday
A cold front stalling over northern California will have increasing Pacific moisture to work with and generate widespread showers. Rainfall totals could be high for parts of northern California and the Sierra Mountains could see heavy snow from this system.
