Trouble in the Tropics

11 Nov 2017, 5:13 pm

The tropical weather season is quickly coming to an end, but not before our two newest developments.  The strongest of the two developing storms is the one located in the Pacific Ocean, just south of the Baja California Peninsula. The National Hurricane Center is monitoring the area of low pressure with a 50 percent chance of development.

In the Atlantic, there is an area that could start to see signs of tropical characteristics according to the National Hurricane Center. However, there is a medium chance within the next five days for this system to strengthen and to further develop.

The hurricane season officially ends November 30, 2017.
