Update on EARL
Hello and happy Thursday everyone.
EARL continues to be the big story… Residents and visitors along North Carolina’s Outer Banks have been ordered to evacuate due the impending storm. If you haven’t seen a recent image of EARL lately, you’d be amazed to see the structure, the symmetry, the eye! WOW, what a storm!
Conditions are expected to deteriorate rapidly today as EARL nears the Mid-Atlantic Coastline Thursday night.
Here’s the latest forecast track:
As of 11AM EDT, EARL was a category 4 storm with sustained winds 140mph with higher gusts
GASTON Next on the List
Take a look at the 180-hour precipitation outlook and note the blob in the Caribbean. This is GASTON, which seems to be taking more of a westerly track. We’ll have to wait and see what happens with this one.
That’s all for now folks, have a good Thursday and stay safe out there!
