Harvey continues to cause flash flooding in the Houston area Sunday.
WeatherNation talked with one family as they were being rescued Sunday evening.
“The [water] came up real fast. At about 2 o’clock in the morning, it went from zero to about 14 inches in an our or two,” the man told us. “The rain was coming down so heavily that it couldn’t keep up.”
The family went on to say that their street cleared twice and then when the last heavy storm came, the draining couldn’t keep up.

Heavy rain will continue for much of Texas and Louisiana for the next few days as Harvey lingers and delivers the threat of flash flooding.
