It was a warm Easter in the Northeast and the above average temperatures continue today. Portland, Maine saw a record high fall on Sunday as 80s spread up the Eastern Seaboard. It was the second warmest Easter on record in New York City.
It will be a warm Patriots’ Day in Boston today with high temperatures reaching into the middle 70s. The day started mild for the Boston Marathon with readings climbing through the 60s.
A cold front will push cooler temperatures into the region for the rest of the week. Readings will drop to slightly below average in New England, with temperatures staying close to normal across the rest of the Northeast.
