After a truck roll over many were running for cover and reaching for their Epipens
According to WeatherNation affiliate KOKH Oklahoma– The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a semi hauling honey bees has rolled over near Pauls Valley.
OHP traffic reports show the accident occurred at approximately 1 p.m. Sept. 29 in the southbound lanes of Interstate 35 near mile marker 72.
Garvin County Emergency Management Coordinator Bud Ramming says the driver of the semi was attempting to get off at an exit when the truck overturned. The driver was transported to the hospital and is expected to be okay.
“I’ve been in law enforcement since ’79 and this is a first for me,” Ramming said.
Ramming reports that beekeepers are being brought in to collect the bees at this time.
