Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch is a village located on the island of Anglesey in Wales. It is situated on the Menai Strait next to the Britannia Bridge across the strait from Bangor.
Abbreviated The slightly less long name, Llanfairpwllgwyngyll translates to “Saint Mary’s Church”. Weighing in at 58 characters it is the longest place name in Europe and the second longest official one-word place name in the world.
