On Monday, WeatherNation brought you an exclusive look at the next weather satellite to launch into space!
WeatherNation traveled from Colorado to Cape Canaveral, Florida with the GOES-S satellite.
Meteorologist Meredith Garofalo and Videographer Ben Strauss gave us a behind the scenes of what it takes to get the most advanced weather technology to the launchpad.
They started at Buckley Air Force Base in Colorado on Monday morning.

After a several hour trip, they landed at the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida.

They have landed! The NOAA Satellite and Information Service #GOESS satellite made it's final journey to NASA's Kennedy Space Center from Lockheed Martin & Buckley Air Force Base in #Colorado just moments ago.
