Here at WeatherNation we continue to follow how much ice cover there is on the Great Lakes.
According to the Great Lakes Environmental Research Laboratory, as of Tuesday, December 26th, 2017 there was six percent ice coverage across the Great Lakes.

Ice coverage on each lake was the following:
Lake Erie – 6.22%
Lake Ontario – 1.52%
Lake Huron – 10.81%
Lake Michigan – 4.69%
Lake Superior – 4.39%
St. Claire (small lake) – 27.91%
