World Series Weather Game 6 – Staying Mild
Warmth has definitely been the weather trend of this World Series and tonight is no exception. Game 6 between the Chicago Cubs and Cleveland Indians is scheduled for 8:08 p.m. EDT at Progressive Field in Cleveland and the weather should be nearly perfect.
EarthCam of downtown Cleveland –
Above average temperatures are expected today in Cleveland with highs well into the 70s, thanks to a southwesterly wind ahead of a cold front.
Any rainfall should stay well west of the area with the front slowly moving east, bringing a few highs clouds to the area today and tonight.
If the Cubs win tonight and force the deciding game 7 for Wednesday, rain would likely still be located west of Cleveland at the 8:08 p.m. EDT first pitch. The showers could get close in the later innings as the front moves east, depending on how long the game lasts.
The highest chance for rain in Cleveland would be on Thursday morning with the cold front. It will bring in cooler temperatures at that time as well.
