November has been dry across much of eastern Colorado with locations like Colorado Springs only seeing 0.15″ so far with most of that falling Nov. 7th and 8th.
Record high temperatures were set on Sunday across the front range of the Rockies with more record heat on tap for Monday.
A Red Flag Warning for gusty winds and low relative humidity, is in effect until 6 pm Monday for SE Colorado.
The warm temperatures combined with low relative humidity and increased gusty winds across dry vegetated areas will spread fire quickly if started. Just a friendly reminder to be careful with open flame and ignition sources.
Tuesday temperatures will take dip as a cold front moves in and should again drop conditions to below Red Flag Warning criteria.
