Freezing Temperatures Down to the Gulf Coast

Cold air and freezing temperatures will work farther and farther south this week. Cold and Frost Freeze alerts have been added for the Gulf Coast through Wednesday morning.

Florida will also be waking up to much cooler air. Jacksonville, FL will wake up to 33° by Thursday morning, this is 10° below average to start the day.

Expect temperatures to fall BELOW freezing for cities like Dallas, Houston, and Little Rock the next couple of mornings.

Thursday through Saturday this week will bring hazardous cold conditions for portions of the Southern Plains and Midwest.
