Lingering storms will continue to push along a frontal boundary as we head into the evening hours. The Storm Prediction Center has kept a marginal risk (level 1 out of 5) for strong to severe thunderstorms through tonight.

The Weather Prediction Center (WPC) has the region under a marginal to slight risk of excessive rainfall aa additional rainfall will be possible, overwhelming saturated soils already in the South.
