Snowfall totals across the northeast have been fairly light, but we have managed to accumulate totals from this New Year's Clipper that surpassed half a foot into the state of Maryland. Through Tuesday morning, only a dusting of snowfall is expected.
2023 closed out as one of the least snowiest years for many locations in the northeast. However, our next system moves in on Wednesday and kicks up some lake-effect snowfall in the snowbelt region. Totals will be minor but snow may bring a nuisance to driving conditions.
While high temperatures will be cool, especially with the breeze, for many this is slightly above average for this time of year.
