WeatherNation TV seeks a full-time Photojournalist. A strong interest/background in meteorology is preferred. A passion and aptitude for visual storytelling is a must.

Position requires a flexible schedule which may include weekends or early morning shifts. Must have the ability to work assisted and unassisted as necessary in a deadline driven environment.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Shooting creative, high-quality video on multiple devices

  • Setting up and execute live shots on location

  • Conducting on-camera interviews

  • Collaborating with talent and producers on story ideas and segment production

  • Going through rundowns and putting together assets for the show

  • Working with talent and producers to deliver on-air content

  • Organizing and distributing assets through network drives

  • Keeping up with good file management protocols

  • Meet strict deadlines

  • Able to efficiently edit content

  • Understand different types of video codecs

  • Ability to travel when sent on assignment

Qualifications:

  • Adobe Premiere (1 year)

  • Adobe After Effects

  • Photoshop

  • Excellent attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 – $21.00/per hour
