Showers and Storms Sunday from Texas to Arkansas Feb 10, 2019

Showers and storms are in the forecast today for areas of North Texas, Southeast Oklahoma and Southwest Arkansas.  The severe risk is low, but a strong storm or two can’t be ruled out of the forecast.  Here is the very latest.

Severe Outlook

Only general storms are in the forecast today, but a few storms could contain some small hail and gusty winds.  You will definitely want to be weather prepared if you are in any of these areas.

Showers developing in West Texas will move east throughout the day and eventually move into a more unstable environment for the afternoon and evening.  This is when storms should be firing up over Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas.  Again, the severe risk is low, but a strong storms will still be possible.
