As of 11 AM HST, Calvin is now a Post-Tropical Cyclone. Visible satellite has shown that the low-level center of Calvin is broadening and becoming ill-defined so the National Hurricane will stop advisories on it. Additional information on this can be found in the High Seas Forecast.
Calvin will continue to move to the west in the next 24 hours, departing in the Hawaiian islands later tonight with very few lingering impacts. Once the storm is west of Hawaii, it will weaken further over open waters. There is another area of low pressure developing in the eastern Pacific that we will keep a close eye on through the next few days.
