Well above-average temperatures will continue to dominate the central and southern United States. Temperatures were a tad bit cooler in the Upper Midwest. Saturday, more records fell across parts of the West.

Temperatures further east into the Plains have been anomalously warm as well. A mix of temperatures will be felt over the next few days with ups and downs.

Forecasts continue to call for relatively warm temperatures through the weekend and into next week. However, there is a signal of colder air moving in by the middle of next week, so enjoy it while you can.
