Before & After Photos Show Hilary's Damage in California

Satellite photos show the impact Tropical Storm (once Hurricane) Hilary had on southern California with before and after photos. The photos before were taken April 15, 2023 and the after photos were taken on August 21st. You can see many communities covered in mud, and roadways washed out as a result throughout Riverside County, CA.

Many communities especially through the Coachella Valley are now cleaning up from feet of mud in their neighborhoods, trapping cars and people in their homes. Palm Springs saw their wettest August day on record with 3.18" of rain, about an 1" shy of what they see in a typical year
