Fires continue to burn in California which are causing problems for residents.
The major concern is the County Fire just below the Pawnee Fire. It has grown 70,000 acres in a span of five days. Northerly winds are helping it grow rapidly and helping to push the smoke into cities such as Sacramento and San Francisco. This is causing huge air quality concerns for those cities.
Containment is staying low for the County Fire, as well. Rough terrain, high winds, and dry conditions are making it hard to fight this fire.
