Hot and dry conditions in California continue to cause problems for firefighters. Temperatures have been lingering in the 90s and 100s drying out the trees and grasses. Gusty conditions help spread fires very rapidly. The Pawnee Fire has grown 3,000 acres in the past 24 hours with containment only being at 25 percent. Hot and dry weather will dominate California over the course of the next 5 days.   For WeatherNation -Meteorologist Shelly Lindblade
