3 large fires continue to burn across the state of California. The Mendocino Complex Fire, Carr Fire and Ferguson Fire with the Perry Fire burning close-by in western Nevada. All fires have fairly low containment at 22-33% with 8 fatalities reported as of 6:30AM August 1st in California. Smoke is an issue for people near the fires with air quality alerts out for the The San Joaquin Valley until the fires are extinguished.
