Get ready for below-average temperatures, bitterly cold wind chills, and more snow in the upper Midwest! A clipper system will continue to bring snow and gusty conditions into the upcoming week.
As this will be a typical quick-moving clipper, snow accumulations will not be overly impressive. However, a few areas in northern Minnesota and the UP of Michigan could close in on nearly half a foot.
However, the snow mixed with the blustery winds will bring minor to moderate impacts, meaning travel will likely be difficult and impacts on everyday life will likely be felt, especially in northern Wisconsin and the UP of Michigan.
Gusty winds will be noticeable as wind chill temperatures will be freezing! Wind chills may reach 20 degrees below zero Tuesday and Wednesday morning! Frostbite can occur within minutes, so make sure to use caution if outdoors by covering up exposed skin.
