Damaging Wind Gusts Possible with Upper Midwest Severe Storm Tonight

A line of thunderstorms in the Upper Midwest may produce damaging wind gusts of 60 to 90 mph tonight. The severe storms have already produced gusts of 60 to 80 mph in Eastern North Dakota. As of 8 p.m. CDT, a Severe Thunderstorm Watch included parts of North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota and Wisconsin. The watch includes the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area. In addition to strong wind gusts, large hail and isolated tornadoes are possible. Stay tuned to WeatherNation on-air and online for the very latest information.
