From the Rocky Mountains to the Great Plains to the Upper Midwest, many saw their
first snowfall of the season on Sunday. In many cities, this was way ahead of schedule. But an autumn snowfall can be beautiful....and that was indeed the case!

The heaviest snowfall occurred in the mountains and higher elevations of Wyoming, Colorado, and New Mexico. However, a few inches of snow also coated the ground in states such as Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, Iowa, Minnesota, and Wisconsin.
