Fire danger remains elevated this weekend in portions of the south, including Texas and Florida!

Florida

Gusty winds will increase this Sunday afternoon in Florida with somewhat dry conditions. As fuels are very dry from a lack of rain, this is expected to lead to elevated rates of potential fire spread.

Big Bend

Humidity is improving for much of the Four Corners on Saturday but in the Big Bend region of Texas, conditions remain critical for fire danger with dry and gusty conditions. Humidity should increase, alleviating fire danger on Sunday.

As always, do anything and everything to prevent a spark or a flame!
