Freezing Fog To Blame For Multiple Accidents In Alabama

As skies cleared last night, temperatures dipped well below freezing in Alabama. The clear conditions alongside calm winds allowed for fog to develop as well. This has resulted in several slick conditions around central and northern Alabama this morning. Reports coming in of multiple traffic accidents around Birmingham, AL due to freezing fog. A current look at visibility and temperatures right now. Visibility in Birmingham down to a quarter miles or less. Conditions will improve within the next hour or so.
