Today's severe weather chances will shift from the Southeast to the Northwest.  Parts of Oregon and Idaho could see some isolated severe storms later today.  Here is the very latest.

Severe Outlook

A Marginal risk of severe weather today for eastern Oregon and western Idaho.  These area the areas that we are watching for severe development later today.

Severe Threats

Large hail and damaging winds will be the biggest threats today.  Thankfully it doesn't look like there will be a large amount of rotation with any of these storms so the tornado risk will be low.

Timing

The latest timing for today's severe risk will be for the late afternoon and early evening.  Once the sun goes down the risk of severe weather will quickly decrease.   Keep checking with WeatherNation for more updates.   Meteorologist Patrick Crawford
