Moisture moving across the West the last few days has been bringing areas of heavy snow to the Rockies. Some snowfall amounts were over a foot. In the warmer air, large hail and heavy rain has been falling, along with some strong wind gusts.   A cold front dropping across the region enhanced snowfall in the Rockies and brought the heavy rain to the Front Range. The front will push into the Plains, bringing an end to the precipitation in Colorado.       Remaining moisture will be light through Thursday. The highest elevations may see a few inches of lingering snowfall. We will continue to have updates in your western regional forecast at :50 after the hour on WeatherNation.
