Heavy Snow On The Way For Parts of Arizona

Heavy snow has been falling across the Sierra Nevada Mountains in California, but now, we will see it come down across parts of northern Arizona through Monday. Winter Storm Warnings and Winter Weather Advisories are now in place from north of Phoenix to Tuba City from Sunday until 11 PM MST Monday. In the warning area, 6-9" of snow is expected with some higher totals up to more than a foot. In the advisory, we will likely see 2-4" with localized amounts up to 7" in some spots. This will make travel difficult due to snow covered roads and a drop in visibility at times.
