The snow is here, and more is in the forecast through the morning. In Colorado, we have already seen reports of up to 6 inches of snow. As this system moves through the higher elevations will see the highest snowfall totals. Cities like Denver can see a dusting.

Higher elevations could see upwards of 10" which is great news for the ski resorts. We will see the moisture and the snow continue to push further to the south. If we see any snow along Interstate 25, accumulations should be light and mainly on grassy surfaces. By Thursday morning, everything is in southern Colorado and northern New Mexico!

A few ski resorts in Colorado have begun to open like Keystone, Winter Park and A-Basin. More are expected to open within the month like Breckenridge and Vail this weekend!
