NORTHEAST - Winter weather advisories have been winding down for the Great Lakes and Northeast, with a few lingering through Tuesday morning. Main and New Hampshire can still expect between 3-5" of snowfall and Michigan may see additional snow accumulations up to 3 inches.
You'll notice our forecast models aren't putting out a terrible amount of additional snowfall in these areas through tonight and into tomorrow morning but a few pesky lake effect bands across Michigan could still lead to slippery conditions for the evening drive tonight and morning drive tomorrow.
Snow will continue to taper off overnight.
Another system has dropped in from the Canadian Prairies today and will continue to bring minor precipitation totals for the northern Plains overnight. This low will swiftly move towards the Atlantic Coast through tomorrow.
