It could be a long wait for skiers looking for the next mountain snow. A ridge of high pressure builds across parts of the West (including most of Colorado) through Sunday. The main storm track (jet stream) shifts north to favor the PNW/BC/ID/MT/WY for the most consistent snowfall.

When can Colorado skiers expect new snow? There will be a light snow the Central and Northern Mountains Wednesday, but the next major snowfall will not occur until Sunday or after (3/2-3/7).

A colder storm system is possible next week or mid-week, with significant snow accumulation.
