The intense snow has slowed down across the Great Lakes, but there still could be more lake-effect snow for Michigan and Indiana this weekend. This will continue to mean travel threats for the region.

Additional snowfall could get up to 3" in parts of Michigan and Indiana. This is on top of the heavy snow that has already fallen in these areas.

The other factor will be another blast of cold temperatures filling in behind our storm system. Temperatures drop again into the weekend back into the single digits for Minneapolis, and teens for the Great Lakes region. It will not be as cold as early this week but still be well below average!
