More than 800,000 Power Outages Across Carolinas

  Latest information from electric utilities from across North Carolina and South Carolina show that power outages for customers are above 800,000, as of 8 AM EDT. At one point, power outages exceeded 900,000 customers Duke Energy, one of the largest North Carolina utilities, is reporting close to 488,693 customer outages.
