Snow totals for northern New England and upstate New York have surpassed a foot with our latest system stemming from this weekend! We'll see the flurries lingering through the rest of the day before dwindling into Tuesday.
Winter weather alerts remain in effect for some spots across the northeast including the coast of Lake Erie and Ontario, mostly to account for the lake-effect snow behind the storm system. There will also be cold enough air in the mountains of Northern New England to support snow late tonight through Sunday.
The wind has also been stubborn to back off on Monday. Those will continue through this afternoon as this strong low continues to pull off to the east.
