NWS: Tornado Confirmed Just South Mechanicsville, Iowa on Tuesday

The National Weather Service confirms a tornado touched down just south of Mechanicsville, Iowa, a town of population 1,102, on Tuesday, September 25th, 2018. According to the storm survey, a brief tornado touched down just south of town early Tuesday afternoon, lofting 2 grain bins and causing damage to corn. This was one of many damage reports due to storms sweeping across parts of the Midwest on Tuesday. For WeatherNation, I am Meteorologist Marcus Walter.
