Pattern Change for Southwest

Are you ready for a change in the southwestern United States? A pattern shift will bring much-needed rain to parts of the southwest to kick off the beginning of the week. An area of low pressure at the surface will get cut-off and bring in ample amounts of sub-tropical moisture that will lead to a wetter pattern beginning on Monday and assist in bringing temperatures close to normal across the region. This storm system is expected to bring a couple different rounds of rain to the region and even a chance of thunderstorms, which could produce heavy downpours at times.
