The Storm Prediction Center is keeping an eye on a big part of Florida for the possibility of severe weather on Thursday afternoon and evening. A strong cold front is forecast to move from the Gulf of Mexico across Florida late Thursday morning through the evening. Although we are still several days out, anyone from the Space Coast to Tampa Bay down through the Keys should be prepared for the threat of storms that could produce damaging winds and even waterspouts or tornadoes. We will be following this story on WeatherNation throughout the week. For WeatherNation, I'm Meteorologist Meredith Garofalo
