Police in Massachusetts warned drivers to clear snow from their vehicles before travelling on March 15 after snow on the roof of a tractor trailer caused it to clip an overpass in Wareham and knock netting into the path of oncoming traffic. The Bourne Police Department issued the warning as it shared this footage, filmed by Jennifer Bruce Richards. Richards told Storyful she asked her 16-year-old daughter to begin filming as the tractor trailer approached the overpass on Route 25, knowing the thick layer of snow on its roof would likely lead to a dangerous incident. The video shows the netting falling into the path of Richards’ car, causing her to swerve slightly, while the tractor trailer kept driving. Bourne Police said no one was injured in the incident. https://www.facebook.com/WeatherNation/videos/10156342737789874/   For your local forecast, download our free app or head here.
