The Storm Prediction Center issued a marginal risk for central and southern Florida for Tuesday afternoon. Some storms that fire off this afternoon and evening have the potential to spin up a tornado or two and produce strong wind gusts.
Storms wait to fire off until later this afternoon and linger into the overnight hours. After planning the forecast below forward, you can see that Wednesday afternoon also brings another chance for isolated severe storms, too.
Wednesday's storm chance brings the chance for all forms of severe weather, however, wind and hail will be the primary threats.
As of now, flooding doesn't look to be a very large concern, but some isolated pockets of heavy rain could lead localized areas to pick up 2-4" of rain.
