The major winter storm now pushing through the Mid-Atlantic, will bring the chance for thunderstorms along the coasts of South and North Carolina.  The severe risk is on the low side, but a few strong storms will be possible.  Here is the latest.

The severe weather chances are low with a general chance for showers and storms.  Along the coast of North Carolina, there will be the chance for a few strong storms with gusty winds.
