A strong cold front is making its way through the Southeast, with isolated severe storms possible through the overnight hours. This is the same frontal system that produced a few tornadoes and gigantic hail in north Texas on Thursday.
The Storm Prediction Center is highlighting the Panhandle of Florida and parts of south Georgia for the potential of strong to severe storms into the overnight hours. Damaging wind gusts will be the main concern with this line of storms but a brief spin-up tornado can't be ruled out.
Due to the slow movement of these storms and the fact that the ground is already saturated from previous systems, localized flooding may become a concern into Saturday morning. Use caution if you have to be out on the roads!
