An area of low pressure sweeping through the Northeast will bring strong winds to the forecast Tuesday morning.  Some winds could exceed 60 mph in some areas.  Here is the very latest.

Wind Alerts

Wind advisories and high wind warnings are scattered across the Northeast for the risk of dangerous winds.  Sustained winds up to 40 MPH will be possible with even stronger gusts.

Forecast

The winds will be weakening from West to East...so areas along the coast will have the stronger winds throughout most of the day.  This means winds could be strong enough to blow down trees, branches and power lines.  Power outages could be an issue in a lot of these areas. Keep checking with WeatherNation for more updates on the dangerous winds.
