A strong cold front steamrolling across the south has left a wake of damage and destruction since early Tuesday AM. Over 200 damaging wind reports from Texas to Florida and 8 tornado reports across Texas, Louisiana and Oklahoma. The National Weather Service issued 40 tornado warnings and over 150 severe thunderstorm warnings throughout the day on Tuesday. This severe threat is ongoing today. There have been several areas that received damage from Monday night to Tuesday morning's storms, including Ada, Oklahoma, where a tornado was confirmed by the National Weather Service. Here are some of the unfortunate scenes of damage.
Additional areas that received damage were Plano, Texas, where the high school's roof was torn off from these storms, as well as a warehouse in Lewistown, Texas, where a likely tornado came through early March, the 4th.
