Heavy rain and severe weather are ongoing across parts of Minnesota and the Central Plains on Sunday. So far, one tornado has been confirmed for Nebraska.  Isolated damage reported. A Tornado Watch is in effect for the area until later this evening. https://twitter.com/WeatherNation/status/1008434800716214272 On Monday this energy will linger across the Central Plains and Midwest triggering another round of strong to severe storms for the afternoon hours. Hail and wind will once again be the primary concern with an isolated tornado risk for Iowa, eastern Nebraska and northern Kansas. Stay alert and have a way to get watches and warnings should they be issued for your region. Meteorologist Merry Matthews
