Wednesday Severe Weather Update

There will be an increasing risk for strong to severe thunderstorms over the Upper Mississippi Valley to the Central High Plains.  All modes of severe weather will be possible, including the risk of tornadoes.  Here is the very latest.

Severe Outlook

Severe storms will be possible anywhere from eastern Colorado to eastern Wisconsin.  All modes of severe weather will be possible with the chance of large hail, damaging winds and isolated tornadoes.

Severe Threats

The one thing that stands out about today's severe weather chances is the amount of area covered in the risk of severe weather.  Numerous states could be dealing with severe severe storms later this afternoon.  Notice how large the tornado risk is...tornado chances from Green Bay, Wisconsin to Denver, Colorado.  Could be a very active day on the way.

Forecast
