Snow continues tonight in Colorado, Wyoming, and Utah this weekend as a cold front races south. The snow should taper off Saturday night!


Winter alerts continue from Colorado into Nevada. The heaviest snow is expected along and just north of I-70, up to I-80 in Utah and Nevada.

Timing

Snow will sit between I-70 and I-80 through the rest of Saturday, with heavy snow in mountain areas. Light snow will linger into Sunday morning before clearing out. Another round of rain and snow is expected in southern Utah and Colorado during the latter half of the upcoming week.

Forecast Accumulation

Moderate to heavy snow accumulation is likely at many ski resorts (top of page).

A few highlights:

  • Jackson Hole: 3-6 inches.

  • Big Sky, MT: 3-6 inches.

  • Alta, UT: 3-7 inches.

  • Steamboat, CO: 6-9 inches.

  • Vail: 6-9 inches.

  • Aspen/Snowmass: 1-4 inches.

  • Bear Lake, CO: 12 inches (& 90mph gusts).

Forecast Highs

While temperatures west of the Front Range remain close, if not above seasonal averages, cities such as Denver and Colorado Springs will feel below-average temperatures again on Sunday before a warm-up.
