The Jones Road Fire began in Ocean County, NJ, on Tuesday, April 22nd, 2025. It has grown to 15,300 acres and is 65% contained. One arrest has been made in connection with the fire. Officials say a 19-year-old did not extinguish a bonfire, which spread.
