Areas of heavy snow will be possible across areas of northern New Mexico today.  The energy from that will produce this snow will eventually move into the Plains Wednesday and produce rain and wintry weather.  Here is the latest forecast on the wintry weather for New Mexico today.

Winter weather advisories are in place all day and we will likely see some big travel impacts along US Highway 550 and U.S. 64 west of Dulce.  You will definitely want to us caution traveling in these areas the next 24 hours.
